TF SABER REUNION
November 8-10, 2024 in Denton, TX
Registration is limited to TF Saber/1-91 CAV Veterans and Spouses. Registration fee covers activities for registered adults. Accommodation and airfare are not included. A reduced group hotel rate is being offered to participants, info below.
Get ready for a fun weekend full of events to build Purpose, Belonging, and Well-Being.

- Private tour of the Texas Motor Speedway and photo opportunities.
- BBQ dinner in the world-famous Fort Worth Stockyards.
- Pre-game tailgate and concert with Chuck Briseno, plus exclusive seats for the Army vs. North Texas football game (go Black Knights!).
- Other surprises and swag up our sleeve – what’s a fun weekend without fun surprises and a little anticipation?!
Deadline to sign up for guaranteed attendance at sponsored group events is 9/30/2024.
To assist with travel costs, we have arranged for reduced cost hotel rooms at Springhill Suites Denton – click here to reserve your room.
To take best advantage of all events, we recommend you arrive no later than 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8th and depart no earlier than Sunday, Nov. 10th.
This event is paramount, however we realize that finances may be a barrier to spending this important time together. If this is the case, please let us know during the registration process.
Get your spurs on, Saber Challenge is going to a Dude Ranch!
Jan 31 – Feb 3, 2025 in Bandera TX
Registration is limited to TF Saber/1-91 CAV Veterans and spouses. Join us an hour outside of San Antonio, TX at Dixie Dude Ranch for a delightful weekend. The ranch will provide all meals, horseback riding twice a day, hiking, some fishing if the water is high enough, entertainment, and a bunch of ranch games (horseshoes, volleyball, board games etc etc) with a Sunday afternoon / evening staff ride to the Alamo with a talk provided by Col(Ret) Chris Kolenda on the leadership lessons of the Alamo.
Prerequisite to attendance includes completion of the Ever-Better Program and 22-day Trigger Mastery Challenge. Ever Better is a video-based program that gives you tools for strengthening Purpose, Belonging, and Well-being — which are the three elements of Growth. The videos are short and actionable; complete the program at your own pace. Sign up for Saber Challenge today and you will be invited to our online learning community powered by Circle.

“Raising Joy” Benefit Gala and Auction – May 9th, 2024, Washington D.C.
We raised some joy with donors and supporters on May 9th at the Army Navy Club in Washington D.C. to celebrate all we have accomplished in two years and to help us prepare for the work ahead in supporting our veterans! Thank you to all our donors and supporters who helped to make this year’s gala a success! Watch the video below to see the highlights.
Saber Challenge Adventure – Chattanooga, TN April 19-23, 2024
The inaugural Saber Challenge Adventure program was held in Chattanooga, TN this April! We had 12 attendees.
Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to offer participating veterans accommodation at a beautiful campground in the Ocoee River Valley, delicious homestyle meals, whitewater rafting, cooking classes, hiking, a battlefield leadership seminar at the nearby Chattanooga civil war battlefields, and national park entry.
This weekend full of events was designed to build Purpose, Belonging, and Well-Being. By all reviews, it was a success!
Pedals and Parachutes Annual Reunion 2023
The 2023 Reunion and Annual Event was held in Petaluma, CA. It included a welcome dinner honoring the attending veterans, a 24/48 mile benefit bike ride that supported veterans’ well-being, participation as the Grand Marshal in the Petaluma Veterans Day Parade, and live music by 1-91 CAV veteran Chuck BriseƱo at Torches Restaurant in Petaluma, CA, and finally, tandem skydiving!
Fallen Hero Honor Ride 2022
The Fallen Hero Honor Ride is a 1700-mile bicycle journey to visit the graves of the six paratroopers from our unit who were killed in action in Afghanistan and raise funds for the Saber Six Foundation. The Ride started in Spalding, Nebraska, on September 25, 2022, and finished at Arlington National Cemetery on October 22, 2022.
