Sergeant Adrian Hike

On November 12, 2007, Sergeant Adrian Hike was the gunner in a humvee while serving in Afghanistan. Adrian was a champion who inspired those around him with his resilience. He was killed after the vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) attack.

To honor his memory and support the living, Retired U.S. Army Colonel Christopher Kolenda is riding 1,700 miles cross country to visit his gravesite in Carroll, Iowa, to raise awareness and funds for his unit’s veterans and families who need help. Learn more and donate to honor their sacrifice.
